DEADLINE APPROACHES!
The Society for New Language Study and In Geardagum: Essays on Old and Middle English are sponsoring a session at the 2011 ICMS called: Beowulf against the Grain. We are looking for papers that are unconventional, nontraditional, or innovative approaches to Beowulf whose arguments are based on close readings of the text. 500-word proposals/abstracts for twenty-minute papers will be accepted until August 31.
